Fibromyalgia - Tips for Sufferers
  • Take up a form of gentle exercise. Swimming, yoga and tai chi are good examples. Be careful of how much exercise you do though, leave your lesson/practice thinking that you could have done more.

  • Investigate alternative medicine techniques, such as

I find aromatherapy massage to work wonders! Check out my aromatherapy and Reiki pages.

  • Start a daily meditation practice. Meditation has recently been proven to have huge benefits including strengthening the immune system.

  • If your sleep is disturbed make sure you sleep in the dark. If you can, when you wake up in the night get up and walk about a bit if you can before going back to sleep.

  • Get yourself tested for allergies as some of the things in your diet may be aggravating your symptoms. I found I was allergic to cows milk which was affecting my sleep pattern and my skin.
